Mobile Content

Extensions are powerful modules that may be added to WPtouch Pro to enhance the appearance and performance of the mobile and/or desktop themes. The Mobile Content extension is available as an add-on to your license. To add it to your license, go to http://www.wptouch.com/pricing.

Mobile Content

The Mobile Content extension allows mobile-specific content to be displayed to visitors using mobile devices. Content entered in the "WPtouch Alternate Mobile Content" area of the WordPress post and page editor will replace content entered in the main area only when viewed in the mobile theme. This feature allows for a greater degree of control over content as viewed on different platforms. Mobile Content is included with all license bundles.


When the Mobile Content extension has been activated, a new "WPtouch Alternate Mobile Content" area will appear in the WordPress post and page editor. Content added here will only be seen in the WPtouch Pro mobile theme. It will not affect content displayed in the desktop theme; this includes content viewed in a desktop browser and content viewed in the desktop theme on mobile devices.
